NDP`2010
Sunday, July 4, 2010 @ 11:28 AM
Reminiscing the NDP days last year did bring back nostalgia in me. Even now, whenever I look at the Floating Platform, images of my involvement flashes rapidly through my thoughts. Especially the year 1 sergeants and officers. They rocked. My 2009 involvement was really special. The rest of the troopers did marshalling while I did covers,"covers" and phototaking.
During weekdays, I covered the guard duty personnel (The soldiers from our battalion that guards the floating platform). When it comes to weekends, I "cover" my company with 20 tablets of paracetamol. And in addition to that, I walked the whole city area with Zack to snap photos of B coy's participants.
2009
OC briefing me a his instructions of what kind of image he expects and when I should execute the shots.
And so did Coy 2IC.

I grew. My responsibilities grew as well.
This year, I'm involved with heavier responsibilities. 46SAR paramedics are to run Medical Post 2 @ Padang, every saturday, without fail. Good thing is, there's rotation now. So I'll be free during some saturdays compared to last year (Which was more intensive but nevertheless, more boisterous).
This is my team! With colleagues and juniors.
and of course, the typical armband medic shot that you usually see during medic's POP day.
And that summed up this entry.
SOMEHOW, SOME HOW, SOME-HOW
Somehow I love this AD. It is somehow heart warming and it somehow made me feel like I'm in the movie theater.
