ECP Overnight Cycling with Platoon 7
Wednesday, December 30, 2009 @ 12:36 PM

Had a gratifyingly awesome night cycling trip with platoon 7. 2 days back. I was the one who made things happen and told them to congregate at 19 00 hrs. And guess what? I was the latest to arrive excluding Joseph Phang. Totally didn't envisage things to stretch out so long... Siang called me at 3 plus. Of course, I agreed to shadow him.. Afterall, I'm rallying with platoon 7 at 7. He prepared for around an hour and finally rendezvous with me at 4 plus. Still, not so bad... We took cab to Tiong and wow, the queue was amazing. And after the banking, he wanted to cut his hair. I couldn't possibly "Hey sorry I g2g, you cut urself, bye bye" cuz afterall I promised to keep him company. SO....... I was terribly late :(

Well, after arriving at ECP, we went to the hawker centre there to devour some food. I had my wonton noodle, accompanied by stingray. Didn't manage to snap a shot of the stingray though. Hah... And then... Camwh0red a little.

Zikang, Bean and their rose milk drink thingy. Nice meh?? I was never a fan of Bandung. Yucks!

And finally, to sum up the meal....

Konrad's a pro. He knows how to take picture of all of us without asking pubs for help. Although my ugly hair got chipped off, it's still a good shot :D. Credits to YS TEO.

mAtty's waiting dispassionately for Joseph Phang. He was extremely late as he sent his mum off to somewhere. Don't really know the details. And yeah, the bicycle I was resting on was the bicycle we rented. $8 per night.

Edwin claims that he paid $8 to torture himself. Haha!

And then.... Hell began...

Yeah.. East coast park to Changi village wasn't even a joke. Just for that plate of Famous-Changi-Village-Nasi-Lemak we suffered through the whole night. Everone loathed at the idea of cycling back to East Coast Park as we'll probably be too lazy to cycle out again by then. SO............. We cycled to Pasir Ris --> Tampines --> Simei --> Tanah Merah --> Bedok --> Kembangan --> Eunos --> Paya Lebar --> Geylang. That was so crazy! We didn't even know the route and we bashed through civilizations after civilizations. Avoiding expressways after expressways... Up the slopes, down the hills... And eventually arrived at GEYLANG for the so called famous Soya Bean shop.

Unfortunately, I didn't capture the moments where we arrived at different locations but this is the only evidence to support my speech. I wound say the egg tart was good. Initially, we wanted to cycle down south to Tiong Bahru but many were too drained to do so. So, we proceeded to the One Fullerton Merlion instead.

Cycled through Geylang --> old Airport road --> Kallang --> Lavender --> Suntec Cuty --> Esplanade --> and finally Merlion!

We took a couple of pictures while cycling through city as we thought that the backdrop was dazzling.

This picture suppose to have a chio bridge at the background but unfortunately, the flashlight only focus on us. How sad.

Camwh0red again at the Esplanade. They were testing out their lighting system for new year's count down at the marina floating platform. Look at the balls at the background ;D And what's with my adam's apple? Protruding so crazily outwards?

And lastly................. Ok I don't want to bother uploading the picture at the Merlion cuz the lighting sucks. Camera focus only on the frontal object. So the picture turned out crappy.

PS// Good training guys.
